The King is dead - long live the King!

On the 1st of January 1515, Francis I succeeded his cousin Louis XII. On the 25th of January, he was crowned King of France in Reims Cathedral, going on to reign for 32 years. Five centuries on, the Loire Valley, 20 monuments, 8 Towns and Towns of Art and History, 1 Land of Art and History and many more entities are coming together to commemorate this accession and this period of history.
